Family Safety Course

This is a class that can be given to all family members as a unit.

Ways to respond to a fire/smoke alarm, or the presence of fire/smoke in the home.

 

How to safely break a window if the window will not open as designed. CSS will demonstrate safe ways to break a window with available objects when it is necessary to escape a burning building when access to a door is unavailable.

 

All family members ages 12 or older can learn how to break a window and safely crawl through when an exit door of the home is not safely available.

  

CSS will provide a window frame with the window the members of the family will be trained and will break a window, all safety equipment will be provided for a safe informative training we provide.

Home Intrusion Course

This course provides options and training for individuals and families on how to respond if a home invasion occurs while you and/or your children are home.

 

This course will include appropriate age instruction on what and what not to do in the event a stranger(s) enters your home uninvited.

Domestic Abuse & Violence

Ken Baxter, the owner of CSS, has extensive experience working with victims of domestic violence and abuse. If you are a victim and need a consultation or his services in this matter, he will meet with you and will assist you at no charge. CSS owner, Ken Baxter, is the only one with the company that works with those individuals that are threatened and/or abused physically/mentally. All matters on this topic will be dealt with discreetly and/or through the help of the proper authorities.

Beginner to Advanced Firearms Training

Countermeasure Security Specialists (CSS) Gives one on one and group weapon training classes for those that choose to learn and or improve the proper and professional way to use a gun for protection of self and others. 

 

Safety First: Major safety rules will be taught, and each student is expected to always adhere to them. 

 

Classroom: All instruction begins in the classroom prior to stepping foot on the shooting range. 

 

Range: Proper stance and positioning and Proper grip of your weapon will be demonstrated and taught. 

 

Target: The FUN part!! Utilizing safety measures, classroom instruction, and range expectations and education, you can now practice and demonstrate what you have learned!!

Advanced Firearms Training

***Advanced firearms training will be provided ONLY to those who pass the beginner class. 

 

Safety First: Major safety rules will be taught, and each student is expected to always adhere to them. 

 

Reload: Training on Reloading of your weapon will be drilled over and over for consistency and will give you the (muscle memory) you will develop and need to provide the proficiency you expect, to keep your weapon always loaded and ready.  

 

Multiple Targets/Target Identification: “Practice what you have learned” with repetitive practice on multiple targets and with live-action drills including target identification (shoot no shoot, CQB – Close Quarter Battle)

    Mr. Baxter has been in the security business for over 40 years as a Security Contractor for the U. S. Government. He was a member of a Special Response Team (SRT), a highly trained counter terrorist team for a Department in the U. S. Government for 20 years. On standby 12 hours Daly to respond to possible terrorist attacks Domestic or foreign, to prevent theft of Highly protected Special material, components, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD’s). 

    ​

    Mr. Baxter is highly experienced in conducting hostage rescue including emergency response in active situations. He spent 2 years as an operator, 4 years as an Assault Sergeant, 6 years as a Lieutenant Sniper on a U.S. Government Special Response Team (SRT), and retired from the SRT team with 8 years as a Lieutenant Team Leader.

    After retiring from SRT, Ken spent over 20 years working as a Senior Security Specialist for a company contracted to a department of the U.S. government that assesses the government’s ability to protect weapons of mass destruction (WMD’s) and its components.

     

    He also spent 1 year as the Physical Security Manager at the world's largest munitions depot, for the US Department of War.

    Mr. Baxter has trained with and conducted tactical training classes with U. S. Army Special Forces, FBI hostage rescue units. 

    ​

    Ken conducted tactical Training of Force Options for Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and several city SWAT Teams.   

    ​

    Mr. Baxter and the SRT Team has conducted Dignitary Protection Detail operations for multiple U.S. Government Dignitaries.
